- About The Florist-
A flowery journey
Flowers have always been part of my family. My grandfather was a Dutch florist and horticulturist based in Madrid, so flowers were always part of our lives and special events. Every birthday we had a crown of flowers on our chairs and a garland around our place settings. How lovely is that!
I have had a career in the city and for the last 13 years running a successful IT business with my husband. I have three children and two dogs and I am based in Bristol.
I would be very happy to provide an initial free no obligation consultation in the Bristol and surrounding areas to find the flowers that best suit your budget and your requirements. I have a minimum spend of £500 for weddings. I am also the preferred supplier for Prince Hill House in Wiltshire.
My favourite flowers are Peonies, Sweet Peas & scented Roses, but all flowers put a smile on my face!
I am a Level 2 qualified florist and I am continuing in my training with Level 3. I am a student of the Academy of Floral Art and I also continue developing my skills by taking short courses. I have attended a Marquee Decoration course at the Jay Archer Flower School, exploring foam free hanging and table marquee decorations. Have a look at my gallery for some inspiration.
